A seemingly insignificant event of visiting a Huntsville Fire Department station house just might be what planted the seed that has become Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus.

Ask a young child the question: “what do you want to be when you grow up?” and you can get some entertaining answers.

Nurse

Astronaut

Teacher

Garbage man

Football player

etc…

But if you had asked that question to one little boy, we were pretty sure it would have been a firefighter. Well, now we have proof.

Boxes pushed in the corner that had received very little attention contained this photo.

The entire company received this picture in their inbox with this caption:

Just came across this picture for the first time,

my mom found it in a box of her stuff. 

Thought I would share.

The email was from James Wessel, the founder, and president of Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus.

Still today, James loves fire trucks but even more he loves helping fire departments keep reliable fire trucks serving their communities.
